The New Audi Q6 e-tron

Has Audi Made the Q6 e-tron Desirable Enough?

Audi claims it’s taking electric mobility to the next level with the new Q6 e-tron.

They’ve used their Premium Platform Electric and have looked to combine performance, range, and cutting-edge design with this SUV.

Thanks to its 100 kWh battery and 800-volt charging system, the Q6 e-tron offers up to 381 miles of range. More importantly, with the right charger, it can add 158 miles of range in just 10 minutes.

The Q6 e-tron showcases Audi’s advanced technology with digital OLED rear lights and a luxurious, user-centric interior.

With powerful electric motors, the Q6 e-tron quattro hits 0-62 mph in 5.9 seconds, which isn’t slow, and the sportier SQ6 e-tron does it in 4.3 seconds.

Audi’s new lighting technology and spacious, high-tech cabin ensure the Q6 e-tron also stands out in the premium electric SUV market.

Audi may have done enough to make the Q6 e-tron desirable. However, with the compromises with cost and charging infrastructure still an issue, I’m struggling to see this being the success Audi wants it to be, especially with us petrolheads.
