The Electrogenic Delorean EV

Electrogenic has unveiled an exciting development for classic car enthusiasts like me, who keep wondering if they should add a Delorean to their collection.

They’ve developed a ‘plug-and-play EV conversion kit for the iconic DeLorean DMC-12. 

This kit modernises the legendary car, providing a real-world range of over 150 miles and rapid CCS charging capabilities.

The reversible conversion uses Electrogenic’s proprietary technology to enhance the driving experience with smooth, powerful electric performance.

The DeLorean EV now delivers 160kW of power and 310Nm of torque, cutting the original 0 to 60 mph time in half to under 5 seconds.

The kit is available globally through Electrogenic’s network of approved installers, adding to their other EV conversions for classic models, such as the Land Rover Defender and Porsche 911. 

The DeLorean’s futuristic design finally gets the performance to match, making it an even more appealing choice for those looking to combine retro aesthetics with modern efficiency.
