Remastered Ford RS200 and MK1 Escort

Boreham Motorworks has signed a brand license agreement with Ford Motor Company to produce and remaster a series of iconic Ford vehicles. 

This exciting collaboration will see the return of legendary models like the Ford RS200 and MK1 Escort.

These cars will be crafted with blueprint accuracy to deliver an unparalleled analogue driving experience, something that’s sadly lacking in most new vehicles, especially EVs.

The Ford RS200, renowned for its mid-engine layout and advanced four-wheel-drive system, and the rally-winning Ford MK1 Escort will be the first of many iconic Fords brought back to life.

I’ve never owned one of these iconic Fords, but I tested an Mk1 rally car on a gravel stage, and a friend has had various Mk1 and Mk2 Escorts in various states of tune, including an RS2000, so I know just how entertaining they are. 

And I, for one, can’t wait to see what these remastered icons are like and, significantly, how much they cost.
