The New Mercedes G-Class

This is the all-new Mercedes-Benz G-Class, a true icon in off-road luxury.

Established in 1979, the G-Class now comes with electrified drive systems, enhancing its legendary performance on and off the road.

A redesigned off-road unit and the cutting-edge OFFROAD COCKPIT offer a digital view of challenging terrains. The new “transparent bonnet” feature makes navigating obstacles more manageable. 

This latest G-Class lineup features mild hybrids, integrating a 48-volt system for boosted performance and reduced fuel consumption.

The petrolhead pick of the range is the G 63 AMG, which has a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine, delivering 585 horsepower and serious off-road capabilities. 

Its active hydraulic suspension and AMG-specific design make it a standout on any terrain.

The new G-Class continues its legacy as the ultimate adventure vehicle. Its luxurious yet rugged interior, enhanced safety systems, and subtly modernised exterior ensure that it doesn’t stray too far from the loved feel a G-Class must have.

And having seen many friends recently trade in their Land Rover and BMW vehicles for a Mercedes, I can see why.
